- INSPIRATION -
This video inspires me because I aim to use lego for my final animation project, although the video does not use real logo, they have made a whole real scene from Doctor Who and replaced the actors with lego characters. They made an effective animated version with no dialogue. It inspires me due to the work of movement  - as I will need to make the lego I use as real and professional as possible. The use of no dialogue really helps inspire and give guidance to my own project as they may not be dialogue and I am to appeal and entertain the audience with the use of sound.
Doctor Who rocks! x

TIME TRAVEL & ME.

   WHY TIME TRAVEL?
People may wonder why I chose the theme of time travel for my upcoming mood board & final project. The reason is simple. I love the idea of time travel. To be able to travel to events from long ago or see things that are soon to come. I believe it excites anyone's senses and for this reason I feel it relates to a great number of people. Stories on time travel are told across the globe and now it's time I start writing, designing, filming & producing my own piece and interpretation on time travel and where it can take you. Although my animation will be short & simple, I aim to sell it to the audience with the use of sound to help make it more effective.

Comedy Show Task - Working with sound.

Comedy Show

In class, I got into a group of three (me, Ayaan and Leah). We looked at various different SFX on Soundtrack Pro. There was a great variety of sounds from the sound of punching, laughter and even a spaceship! All these different sounds had inspired me to base my final Animation project, not only on visuals, but to allow the audience to be entertained by the use of sound effects. This technique works well with Animation projects in particular. In our group we used a board marker to play a comedian. I recorded by self saying a punch line and we also added sound such as crowd & laughter. The short simplicity allowed the animation to be both humorous and effective. I enjoyed this task. :)

Much love, the creative muslim x

"POCKETS"
Our first lesson of Animation consisted of an introduction to what Animation is and a short practical task.
The practical task was to empty our pockets and whatever was in our pockets had to be animated into a short piece. I was working alone so I had to animate a shisha pen and some Vaseline. I enjoyed this task as it gave a good taster into the world of animation and what it may involve.
